Fever Dream creates work unfettered by stage, sets or lightening. We create unique experiences driven by the space and the world that our productions inhabit.
The work we develop is designed to be free and flexible to tour rural and regionally able of setting up in a field, a village hall, or a theatre with ease allowing us to bring new experiences to audiences that are often faraway from producing theatres.
Jonathon Carr – Artistic Director
Jonathon is a Cumbrian bred artist who began directing whilst studying Politics at York University.
Since moving to London Jonathon has presented Hidden Talent of the Ticket Tearer’s at the Old Vic, and has had work performed at Almeida Theatre and Riverside Studios. He has has also worked with You Me Bum Bum Bum Train, Stephen Berkoff and Theatre AD Infinitum. Edinburgh Credits includes Wrecked, Nuclear Family, and 2011 Fringe sensation Rain.
Winner of the Off cut festival award and NSDF selected show 2011 with Line. Jonathon is a Board Member of Stage Directors UK.
Alex Brown – Producer
Alex is a London born producer who has worked extensively at Edinburgh Fringe as Venue Programmer and Director, including running Bedlam Theatre in 2014 and Programming Assistant at Summerhall in 2015.
Since 2015 Alex has worked as a freelance creative producer, including projects for Creative Scotland and internationally touring work and has presented work at Edinburgh, York, Avignon D’Off and Brighton and Adelaide Festivals.
His passion is to develop multidisciplinary works that interrogate identity and relationship formation across form, time and style, while seeking to discover the fundamentals of human nature.
