Ashtown Nuclear Power Plant is in meltdown. Thousands of lives lie in the balance. Trapped inside, worker siblings Joe and Ellen must make a series of increasingly desperate decisions to stop the disaster. ‘Nuclear Family’ is a gripping piece of interactive theatre. At crucial points the audience must step in to make decisions. Under intense time pressure, you rifle through top-secret government files, classified nuclear documents, as well as confidential interviews and audio files that shed light on Joe and Ellen’s world.
